The gold price in Pakistan has reached a record high, with a significant increase of Rs1,400 per tola, closing at Rs263,500. This surge is in line with the rising gold rates in the international market. The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also increased by Rs1,200, reaching Rs225,908.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the international gold market saw an upward trend, with the price rising to $2,518 per ounce after a $15 increase. The fluctuating gold prices in Pakistan are influenced by international market dynamics, currency exchange rates, and domestic demand.

In contrast, silver prices in the local market remained stable at Rs2,900 per tola, after a recent decrease of Rs50.
