Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has inaugurated two mega projects in Lahore, aimed at improving traffic flow and enhancing the city’s infrastructure. The projects include the Ravi Bridge and the Bund Road project, which are expected to benefit numerous localities in the city.
The Ravi Bridge, spanning 540 meters with four lanes, will connect Shahdara, Kot Abdul Malik, Sheikhupura, Kala Shah Kaku, and other nearby areas. Meanwhile, the Bund Road project, which includes the repair of a drain and the construction of subways for vehicles and pedestrians, will benefit residents of Sherakot, Gulshan-e-Ravi, Sanda, and other suburban areas.
During her visit, CM Maryam also planted a sapling on the side of Bund Road, emphasizing the importance of green spaces in urban development. The projects’ completion is a significant milestone in Lahore’s infrastructure development, showcasing the government’s commitment to improving the city’s traffic management and quality of life for its residents.
