Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has directed authorities to complete the Gaddafi Stadium upgradation project within the stipulated time frame. The project, which includes installing new floodlights, renovating dressing rooms, and upgrading seating capacity, must be finished before the Champions Trophy 2025.

Naqvi inspected the stadium and chaired a meeting to review progress, instructing NESPAK to submit drawings to the FW O at the earliest. He also expedited the underground water tank project, stressing its importance for future events.

The upgradation is part of the PCB’s efforts to modernize cricket infrastructure in Pakistan for the Champions Trophy 2025, which will be played in February next year. Three venues – National Bank Stadium, Gaddafi Stadium, and Rawalpindi Stadium – are being upgraded for the tournament.
