Vegetable Prices Plummet in Lahore, Bringing Relief to Citizens

In a welcome move, the prices of essential vegetables have significantly decreased in Lahore markets, providing relief to citizens. The reduction in prices is attributed to the country’s plummeting inflation rate, which has been a major concern for the government.

Deputy Commissioner Lahore expressed satisfaction with the price reduction, stating, “All efforts are underway to provide relief to the citizens.” The prices of various vegetables have decreased substantially, including:

  • Tomatoes: decreased by Rs25, now available at Rs110
  • Brinjal: decreased by Rs155, now available at Rs220.65
  • Cabbage: available at Rs70
  • Cauliflower: decreased by Rs40
  • Potatoes: decreased by Rs2
  • Garlic: decreased by Rs5
  • Green pepper: decreased by Rs70, now available at Rs105

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has also expressed satisfaction with the reduction in the inflation ratio, which is a positive sign for the country’s economy.

This price reduction will undoubtedly bring relief to citizens, who have been facing financial constraints due to high inflation rates. The government’s efforts to control inflation and provide relief to citizens are commendable.
