In a significant move against corruption, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested five Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) officials on Saturday. The officials were caught red-handed while offering a bribe to an audit team to secure a favorable report.
The arrested individuals include Zeeshan Ali, Nazar Hussain, Ishtiaq Ahmad, Jahangir Ahmad, and Saqib Sagheer. The FIA also recovered over Rs10 million from them, indicating the extent of the bribery attempt.
