A significant shake-up within the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has occurred in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with key leaders removed from their positions. The decision was announced by Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur amid party differences.
PTI’s Peshawar district president, Arbab Sher Ali, and Peshawar region President Atif Khan were removed and replaced by Irfan Saleem and Asim Khan, respectively.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet has also undergone a reshuffle, with new nominees appointed as health adviser, special assistant for environmental change, special assistant for C&W, and special assistant for relief.
Health Minister Qasim Shah has been relieved of his charge and handed over the office of social welfare. Further changes in the provincial cabinet are expected.
