He stated that the Emirates offers “100 percent” facilities to Pakistani citizens and emphasized the importance of respecting local laws and customs.

The clarification comes after reports of a decline in overseas employment opportunities for Pakistanis in the UAE, allegedly due to issues with respecting local laws and customs. The UAE has procedures in place to verify the purpose of travel, and the Consul General advised Pakistani laborers against carrying luggage for others to avoid transporting illegal items.

The UAE and Pakistan have a longstanding relationship spanning over 50 years, and the Emirates has assured its support for Pakistan. Additional facilities for the business community on both sides will be announced soon.
