The duo, comprising rappers Talha Anjum and Talhah Yunus, is scheduled to perform in Mumbai on December 13, Bengaluru on December 21, and New Delhi on December 25. However, their past tweets have ignited a firestorm on social media, with many demanding the cancellation of their shows.

Skillbox, a ticketing platform, delisted events for the Young Stunners’ India tour after receiving backlash for promoting them amid outrage over the rappers’ past tweets. The platform declared that it takes pride in being “Indian” and would not support anyone “inciting hate or violence against India.”

Despite the controversy, the organizer, Desi Disco Entertainment, claims that the shows are still on, with registrations open for the Mumbai gig. Vaheed Khan, the head of Desi Disco, alleged that the outrage was part of a larger strategy to target the show over refusals to collaborate with a few handles.

The Young Stunners have a significant following in India, with 152,583 listeners in Mumbai and 245,000 in New Delhi on Spotify. However, their past tweets have raised concerns about their suitability to perform in India.

The controversy has sparked a heated debate on social media, with many condemning the duo’s past tweets and demanding the cancellation of their shows. Others have come out in support of the duo, arguing that they should be allowed to perform and that their past tweets should not be held against them.
