PML-N President Nawaz Sharif has called on the Supreme Court to reconsider its decisions, citing the need to prioritize the welfare of the masses. He referred to the apex court’s ruling in the reserved seats case and his own ousting from office in 2017.

Sharif Criticizes Judiciary

Sharif questioned the judiciary’s role in his removal from office and the current financial burden on citizens due to soaring electricity bills. He promised that his party would take measures to provide relief to citizens.

PML-N Supremo’s Remarks

Sharif’s remarks came a day after his daughter, CM Maryam Nawaz, criticized the Supreme Court’s decision in the reserved seats case. She warned the judges of severe consequences for attempting to destabilize the country.

Punjab Information Minister’s Statement

Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari also criticized the judges, declaring that those supporting the May 9 culprits would be seen as facilitators. She stated that the existence of a party (PTI) that had become a threat to Pakistan’s integrity and sovereignty was intolerable.
