LAHORE ( The COW News Digital) Veteran Pakistani actress Khushboo has confirmed her separation from husband Arbaz Khan, breaking her silence on their strained relationship after years of speculation.
In a heartfelt interview, Khushboo revealed that Arbaz left without informing anyone and has been absent for the past five years. “There was never any fight between us. He simply left one day without telling us and never came back. It’s been five years, but he still lives in my memories,” she said emotionally.
Khushboo expressed her pain, saying she has not seen Arbaz for years and cannot understand why he chose to walk away from his family. She alleged that Arbaz was never present when she needed him the most during challenging times, which deeply hurt her. “If I was just a housewife, I would have still fulfilled my duties and responsibilities. I have always tried to keep my home together, but no one even checked on me in the last six months,” she said.
The actress also disclosed that both of her sons have been living with her since Arbaz left. “I have taken full responsibility for my children. I have been carrying all the burdens alone for years,” she added.
Khushboo stopped short of officially confirming a legal divorce but made it clear that she and Arbaz are no longer together. Their relationship had been under scrutiny for years, with rumors of separation circulating in the media.
Khushboo and Arbaz married in 2000 and have two sons together. The actress said she still feels sadness over the situation but is trying to move forward with strength for the sake of her children.
Earlier, Arbaz Khan’s father and legendary Pashto film star Asif Khan had publicly expressed disappointment, saying he had not seen his son and daughter-in-law for five years, fueling speculation about a family rift.
The revelation has sparked widespread reaction on social media, with fans sending messages of support to Khushboo and appreciating her courage to speak openly about her struggles. Many expressed sympathy, urging reconciliation for the sake of the children, while others commended Khushboo for standing strong through years of emotional hardship.
