United States of America: ( The COW News DIgital) Jennifer Aniston is giving fans a rare peek into her tight-knit circle of female friends, and revealing an unexpected new bestie.
The 56-year-old Friends alum sat down with People this week, gushing about her enduring bond with co-star Courteney Cox, 61, and her little-known rapport with singer and actress Selena Gomez, 33.
“She’s just an angel that I love to spend time with,” Aniston said of Gomez, noting that the Only Murders in the Building star “helps me lean into social media.” Earlier this year, the pair collaborated on a Galentine’s Day event, cross-promoting Aniston’s haircare brand LolaVie and Gomez’s Rare Beauty.
While Gomez shares her entrepreneurial streak, it’s Courteney Cox who Aniston says speaks her real “love language.” And it’s not Hollywood gossip or career talk. “It kind of bores people to tears when we get into a room together,” she joked. “But it’s what we love. It’s our love language.”
Gomez has previously recalled her starstruck first meeting with Aniston at a Vanity Fair party, telling Ellen DeGeneres in 2020 that her “heart stopped” when she saw the actress in the bathroom. Since then, Gomez has called Aniston “kind and warm” and someone she can turn to for advice about navigating fame.
The Morning Show star also opened up about her home life, saying she prefers quiet nights with her dogs, music, and the occasional dinner with close friends. “I like to just zone out to a great documentary… something light on my heart that makes me laugh,” she said.
