Islamabad( The COW News Digital)Chief of Army Staff, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, has said that India, after losing the battle of truth, is now resorting to hybrid warfare through proxies like “Fitna al-Khawarij” and “Fitna al-Hind.”

Addressing participants of the 16th National Workshop Balochistan in Islamabad, Field Marshal Munir stated that the development of Balochistan is the key to Pakistan’s national unity and progress. The workshop included parliamentarians, civil society members, intellectuals, government officials, journalists, and youth from diverse sectors.

Referring to India’s role in sponsoring terrorism, the Army Chief categorically rejected New Delhi’s support to extremist groups, terming it a direct threat to regional stability. He stressed that such tactics are a failed attempt to undermine the patriotism of the Pakistani nation, particularly the people of Balochistan.

“These elements of chaos will meet the same fate as they did in the moral battlefield,” he stated, reaffirming that the Pakistan Army will continue its struggle against terrorism until its complete eradication.

Field Marshal Munir emphasized that terrorism has no religion, sect, or ethnicity and urged the nation to stand united against this menace. He underlined that without a collective national resolve, defeating terrorism is not possible.

Highlighting the ongoing development projects in Balochistan, he stressed the need to further strengthen cooperation with international institutions and adopt a unified national strategy for the province’s socio-economic uplift.

Reiterating Pakistan’s commitment to regional peace, he said the nation would respond forcefully to any internal or external threat. “The defense of our homeland, national dignity, and protection of the people will be ensured at all costs,” he asserted.

The session concluded with a candid and engaging Q&A session between the Army Chief and the workshop participants, allowing for open dialogue and direct interaction.

Field Marshal Munir’s statements signal a strong rebuke of Indian interference and reinforce Pakistan’s determination to secure peace, unity, and development, particularly in the historically neglected province of Balochistan.
