Karachi( The COW News Digital) In a shocking development, police investigating a high-profile robbery in Karachi’s PECHS Block 2 have arrested a famous TikTok sibling duo linked to the crime. The duo, along with their gang, impersonated FIA officers to loot valuables worth approximately Rs130 million from a prominent car showroom owner’s residence.
According to SHO Ferozabad, Inam Junejo, the incident took place late night between June 25 and 26 around 3:30 a.m. The victim, Muhammad Salik Khalid, was returning home from Banuri Road and parking his car when a black vehicle carrying two armed men and three women wearing burqas blocked his path.
The assailants took Salik hostage and forced him inside his home. One of the suspects was dressed in a uniform resembling that of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), complete with the agency’s monogram, to deceive the victim.
Inside the house, the gang looted a vast cache of valuables, including Rs130 million in cash, nine mobile phones (including iPhones and Google Pixels), 20 luxury watches, a smartwatch, 25 bottles of perfume, two laptops, and other expensive items before fleeing the scene.
Using advanced technology, police recovered CCTV footage and identified the culprits. Three suspects have been apprehended so far: two women named Yusra and Namra, and their brother Shaharyar. Authorities are still searching for an accomplice named Shehroz.
Investigation sources revealed that Yusra Zeeb is also a model associated with various Pakistani brands and is a well-known TikTok personality. Her social media accounts show pictures with local and international artists. Police are investigating if the gang has committed similar robberies in the past.
The case has been registered under FIR No. 678/25 at the Ferozabad police station, with the victim filing the complaint against unidentified persons. SP Jamshaid Division confirmed that the criminals used fake FIA uniforms to gain trust and execute the robbery.
The suspects’ TikTok videos played a crucial role in identifying and apprehending them. Police continue their efforts to recover the stolen goods and apprehend additional members of the gang. Raids are ongoing to dismantle the entire criminal network.
