Karachi ( The COW News Digital) The family of Muhammad Aamir, a resident of Khadda Market in Lyari, has publicly shared their side of the story concerning the viral case of Senda Ayari, a 19-year-old Tunisian girl who traveled to Pakistan after falling in love with Aamir on social media.

According to the family, Senda and Aamir began an online relationship which eventually led to a decision to marry. Senda obtained a Pakistani visa and arrived in Karachi on November 28, 2024. The two got married soon after her arrival and reportedly lived happily for a short time.

However, Aamir’s family claims that the relationship began to deteriorate within a few months. Minor disputes escalated, and eventually, the couple divorced. The family alleges that Senda began exhibiting “bizarre behavior,” often quarreling with Aamir and even becoming physically abusive. “She used to fight over petty issues and would physically assault him,” a family member stated.

They further explained that they had warned Senda repeatedly before her arrival in Pakistan that they could not afford her travel or living expenses, but she was insistent and promised to adjust to their lifestyle. The family claims they grew increasingly troubled by her erratic behavior — including stepping out of the house without traditional attire such as a scarf or shoes, and speaking incoherently at times.

Following the divorce, Senda’s visa expired on February 18, 2025, and she has since been living under police protection while attempting to return to Tunisia. The Ministry of Interior has offered to issue her an immediate exit permit, facilitating her repatriation.

Police have confirmed that Senda has not lodged any complaint against her former husband or his family, including allegations of abuse. Officials state that she is being supported purely on humanitarian grounds due to her expired visa status and lack of local support. Arrangements are currently underway to assist with her safe return to Tunisia.

The story has stirred widespread attention on social media, highlighting the cultural and emotional complexities of international marriages initiated online. Authorities continue to monitor the situation, emphasizing respect for legal procedures and the dignity of the individuals involved.
