TEHRAN:( The COW News Digital )–Iran has announced plans to retaliate following the American strikes on the Fordow nuclear facility, reported The COW News Digital on Sunday.

According to the TCND, Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei said that America entered the war to its own detriment, and now the damage to America will be much greater than that to Iran.

The senior Iranian authorities have stated that “you started it; we will finish it,” marking a dramatic escalation in the regional conflict.

Hossein Shariatmadari, a senior advisor to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, issued a fiery warning, stating that in response to the US strike, Iran “must now take its turn.”

He advocated for direct missile strikes on US naval ships and called for the closure of the vital Strait of Hormuz to American, British, German, and French shipping traffic.

Shariatmadari, who is also the editor-in-chief of the hardline Kayhan newspaper and a long-time conservative voice, stressed that Iran’s response should be swift and unhesitating.

A Telegram message attributed to him stated, “Without hesitation or delay, we must begin by launching missile strikes on the US naval fleet stationed in Bahrain and immediately shut down the Strait of Hormuz for Western maritime traffic.”

Iranian FM says Iran reserves all options

Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi condemned the American attack as a blatant violation of international law and the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).

Calling the strikes provocative and dangerous, Araghchi warned of severe consequences, asserting that Iran reserves “all options to defend its sovereignty, national interests, and people.”
