Renowned writer Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar has extended an olive branch to actress Mahira Khan, stating, “From today, I have no complaints against you.” His remarks come in response to Mahira’s recent podcast interview, in which she expressed regret over publicly criticizing the writer in the past.
Mahira admitted that her reaction during a past controversy was emotional and that she should have spoken directly to Qamar instead of tweeting. “If you think I was wrong, then yes, I was wrong,” she said during the podcast.
Responding to her statement, Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar praised Mahira’s maturity, saying he always respected her and was hurt even when he criticized her. He confirmed sending her a message appreciating her honesty and signaling the end of their rift.
The public reconciliation follows years of tension between the two, notably after Mahira criticized Qamar for his heated exchange with activist Marvi Sirmed during a TV debate.
