Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced that May 10th will be observed annually as “Yom Ma‘rakah Haq” (Day of the Battle of Truth) to celebrate the success of Operation Bunyān Marṣūs. This military operation, launched in response to Indian aggression, successfully dismantled the enemy’s defense system.
In his statement, the Prime Minister emphasized that the day would be celebrated with national fervor, unity, and patriotism, reflecting the courage and professionalism of Pakistan’s armed forces, which have brought immense pride to the nation.
Furthermore, the Prime Minister decided that May 16th would be observed as a day to honor the Pakistan Armed Forces. On this day, the nation will offer prayers of thanks to Allah, including special Nawafils on Friday, expressing gratitude for the victory and praying for the nation’s continued prosperity.
In addition, Pakistan has officially declared the completion of Operation Bunyān Marṣūs, which took place between April 22 and May 9. The operation, carried out on May 10, was aimed at responding to India’s military aggression and the brutal killing of Pakistani civilians. The operation has been marked as a victory for justice and revenge, fulfilling the commitment made by Pakistan’s armed forces to protect the country and its citizens.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Pakistan’s military has expressed deep gratitude to Allah for the success of the operation and remains humbled by the immense support and victory achieved during this critical time.
