Danish Taimoor stands firm on his polygamy statement, no matter what others think

Popular Pakistani actor Danish Taimoor has reaffirmed his controversial polygamy statement despite heavy trolls and criticism. Addressing the use of the word ‘filhal’ in his comment, Danish detailed: “I used the words ‘filhal’ in my remarks due to the uncertainty of life or future.”

In case the readers are not aware, Danish Taimoor has lately invited his wife Ayeza Khan during a Ramadan transmission where he deliberately offered a controversial statement about polygamy which has sparked a debate on all over social media. A few have approved his words but the majority have criticized him for the same and also labeled him as Red Flag.

Danish during the show casually said that men have been granted permission for four marriages by God and they are not doing it, that is another story.

He added: “I say this even in front of my wife that I am granted with the permission of four marriages by GOD and nobody can take it from me, but I am not doing this because I love and respect my wife and I want to spend my life ‘fihal’ (right now) with her.”

Lately, Danish defended his statement and said that he just conveyed what the religion Islam says regarding the matter of polygamy in a true sense.

Being unapologetic over his words, Danish added that he thinks it was his duty to spread the teaching of Islam in a true sense on TV.

Regarding his statement, he said that he still stands firm over his words that he is granted permission for four marriages but he is not doing it because he loves his wife and he is with her for the time being ‘Filhal’.

Danish, during the discussion regarding the same with a religious scholar at his show, said that I used the word ‘filhal’ which has caused a discussion, due to the uncertainty of life but people misunderstood this.The co-host Rabia Anum intervened in the discussion and playfully directed the religious teacher to not be influenced by Danish’s words.

The male actor also complained that people did not viral any good statements from their show and only grabbed his controversial words for gossip which he thinks is not a good habit.
