Sindh Police have successfully recovered mobile phones that were stolen from a Polish tourist couple in Sajawal and returned them to the couple in Lahore.

According to the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Sajawal, the mobile phones were handed over to the foreign tourists two weeks after they were robbed. He stated that three suspects involved in the robbery were arrested and the stolen phones were recovered within three days of the incident.

The SSP added that two individuals involved in the robbery of the foreign couple have been apprehended, and both mobile phones were retrieved from the suspects. One more suspect is still at large, and raids are ongoing to capture him.

In a video message, the foreign couple expressed their gratitude to the Sindh Police and the Pakistani people for their hospitality, kindness, and support throughout the ordeal.

The incident occurred five days ago when the foreign tourist couple, who had been traveling by bicycle across multiple countries, were robbed at gunpoint on the Sajawal bypass. The robbery took place shortly after they arrived in Sindh to explore its tourist destinations. The local authorities, including the Chief Minister of Sindh, took immediate notice of the crime.
