Official sources confirm that a major supply convoy of 225 vehicles reached Parachinar on March 4.
Meanwhile, the demolition of bunkers and removal of trenches continues in Kurram under the peace agreement. According to official sources, 272 bunkers have been dismantled so far.
As part of the peace agreement, the state has begun the gradual collection of weapons and arms. Additionally, more than 100 miscreants have been taken into custody so far.
Earlier, a convoy of 130 vehicles, including five oil tankers, was ambushed by unidentified armed assailants in Kurram district on Monday. The attack occurred near Char Khel in Lower Kurram as the convoy traveled from Tall to Parachinar.
The assailants opened fire on the convoy, forcing the vehicles to stop and looting supplies, including a truck carrying medicines. Police sources confirmed that Akram Khan, a driver from Peshawar, was injured in the attack and was taken to Ali Zai Hospital for treatment.
